Yeti SB160 2025

Yeti's big travel, race focussed mountain bike sits on the throne as the king of the enduro stages. Designed in conjunction with shred-lord Ritchie Rude the Yeti SB160 is the go to bike for those that want to hit the biggest features at ludicrous speeds.

As with all Yeti bikes, the frame is truly something to behold, superior quality carbon, attention to detail and standard of finish are all unmatched by rival brands. The SB160's suspension platform is based around Yeti's own two-piece wishbone shock extender linkage and the famed Fox/Yeti Switch Infinity.

FRAME -  

The SB160 is available in 2 frame options - T-Series Yeti frames are manufactured using their finest carbon layup. The result is the best possible balance of stiffness, compliance and aesthetics (it really is difficult to show in pictures the sublime level of detail put into every Yeti frame).

The C series is geometrically identical to the T series, a variation on carbon lay-up, at the cost of a little extra weight, makes them available at a lower price point. Shred factor is not affected.

BUILD KITS - 

Yeti put together outstanding build kits to match with their frames. Available in C and T kits, the C spec kit now features Fox Factory suspension!

SWITCH INFINITY - 

Switch Infinity utilizes a patented translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel. This provides a tailored anti-squat curve while delivering a fine-tuned leverage ratio

Switch Infinity decouples chain forces from suspension forces incredibly effectively. In the beginning and mid-section of travel – when Switch Infinity moves up – a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve ­creates an efficient pedalling platform through the entire pedalling zone. As a result, suspension performs consistently and predictably. When Switch Infinity reverses direction, anti-squat drastically drops for freedom of suspension movement
