Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains the terms and conditions under which The WhatEver Shop (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides warranties on products purchased from us, whether bought in-store or online.
It outlines your rights, what is covered, what is excluded, and how to make a claim.

1. Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Under UK law, products must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality – free from defects and fit for their intended use.

  • As described – matching any description, photos, or information provided at the time of sale.

  • Fit for purpose – able to do what they are expected to do.

If a product is faulty, you are entitled to:

  • A full refund within 30 days of purchase.

  • A repair or replacement within a reasonable period after 30 days.

  • A partial refund if repair or replacement is not possible.

2. Standard Warranty Coverage

Unless otherwise stated, all products sold by The WhatEver Shop come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects – faults caused during production.

  • Material defects – faults caused by defective parts or materials.

  • Workmanship defects – faults caused by poor assembly or construction.

If a product develops a fault within this period and is covered by warranty, we will:

  • Repair the product at no cost, or

  • Replace the product with the same or equivalent model, or

  • Offer a refund if repair or replacement is not possible.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) that does not affect functionality.

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care.

  • Damage caused by accidents, fire, flood, or other external factors.

  • Modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than The WhatEver Shop or an authorised repair centre.

  • Perishable goods or consumable items (e.g., batteries, bulbs, food).

4. Proof of Purchase

To make a warranty claim, you must provide:

  • Your original purchase receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.

  • The product itself, including all accessories and manuals where possible.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us via email (thewhatevershops@gmail.com) or phone (07391 483199) to report the fault.

  2. Provide your proof of purchase, a detailed description of the fault, and photographs or videos if possible.

  3. We will assess your claim and may request you to return the product for inspection.

  4. If your claim is approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with this policy.

6. Warranty Claim Costs

  • For valid claims within the warranty period, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs (for online purchases).

  • If the claim is found to be invalid, the customer may be responsible for inspection and return costs.

7. Extended Warranties

Some products may come with an extended manufacturer’s warranty beyond the standard 12 months.
Details of extended warranties will be provided with the product or on the manufacturer’s website.

8. Limitations of Liability

Our maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product.
We are not responsible for:

  • Loss of data or information stored on a product.

  • Indirect or consequential losses caused by product faults.

9. Warranty Transfers

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable unless stated otherwise in writing.
